HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
INDIVIDUALS: Since there is no membership fee, we consider anyone attending a UK university a member of UDUK!
The best way to get involved is through your university society/club, so have a look around the affiliates page on this website and the Facebook groups. This will tell you who your university captain is. If your university is not listed then check your university’s website. If your university does not have a captain, then think about declaring yourself as your university captain and see if you can get a few others interested from your university!
TEAM SIGN UP: For a team to sign up to UDUK, all they have to do is contact us telling us they wish to join. It’s that simple. We’ll do the rest. We will then hold discussions with your university captain. Remember, the draw for the unidarts cup take places early in Autumn so keep your eyes peeled! WHAT IT COSTS TO SIGN UP
We understand student finances as we are, or were, students. We understand beer comes first and paying fees comes second. UDUK is run as a non-profit, low cost organisation.
There is no annual membership fee to pay so don’t confuse us with any other organisations.
There are sometimes nominal fees to pay for equipment hire during tournaments, but there is no signing up fee for teams or individuals. If we hold a tournament that costs money, such as the singles tournament in November, then all you will pay for is the entrance fee (which doesn’t break the bank at £4!).
There may be a time in the future when there is a necessity to charge a membership fee, but as it stands, we don’t need too, so will not do so!
