Up/Down

Not sure what the technical name for this game is - three friends invented it and I gave it a name. This game is for 2 players and is easier to play with an electronic score board. The score starts on 201. One person throws 3 darts and deducts their value from 201. The second player throws 3 darts and adds their score to what was left after the 1st player deducted their score. This keeps going until either player 1 gets to zero or player 2 gets to 401. To finish, a double must be hit.

This game is great for practising large outshots as it is unlikely your opponent will leave you three darts at a double. This game is best played with you average players or it will last forever. I have played it in the past and it has lasted upto half an hour.

For a quicker, more entertaining game, you can play from 101 so that you have an outshot nearly every time you throw your darts.
